Various dining options are available for our business guests as well as a large free car park, WiFi throughout the hotel, acres of estate grounds which can be used for outdoor team building activities.

Function Spaces

We have a range of versatile spaces here at Stirk House, including our magnificent Ballroom, the largest function room in the area. Our function rooms can all be customised to meet your specific requirements and are ideal for meetings and conferences from two to 250 delegates. 

The TV Room

Fashionably tucked away overlooking the lounge area, the ‘TV Room’ is a popular choice for smaller conferences and meetings. As well as a screen with USB ports, the option to close the curtain on the window facing the lounge area adds an element of exclusivity and privacy to the room. This allows participants to focus on the meeting without distractions.

The location of the TV Room means that it has a tranquil and calming atmosphere away from the busier parts of the hotel, whilst still being close to the Reception area, the bar and the lounge for breaks. This allows participants to enjoy a quiet and relaxed setting, perfect for productive discussions and brainstorming sessions.

The Pendle Suite

In addition to its functional aspects, the Pendle Suite also provides comfort and convenience. The spacious layout allows for easy movement and comfortable seating arrangements, ensuring that attendees can fully focus on your event. With modern aesthetics and an abundance of natural light, this room offers a professional and sophisticated environment.

The Pendle Suite is a versatile space which can accommodate a wide range of events. Whether you need to give a presentation, conduct a training session, or host a larger meeting with your team, this bright and contemporary room provides a flexible setting which can be tailored to your specific needs.

The Gallery

The Gallery Suite is a charming and characterful setting. The combination of rustic stonework and classic wooden features creates a unique atmosphere that promotes productivity and focus.

This room can be arranged in various setups, including boardroom style, theatre style, or U-shape, depending on your requirements and number of delegates. Our friendly and professional Events Team will be happy to advise and assist with the layout for your event.

During breaks or after your meeting, attendees can also enjoy the peaceful conservatory area just outside the Gallery Suite. This tranquil space provides an opportunity to unwind, relax, and network amidst the serene backdrop of our ‘living-wall’ of colour changing ivy.

The Ballroom

The Stirk House Ballroom is a truly remarkable space for hosting large conferences and events. With a dedicated bar area, a stage, dance-floor and capacity to accommodate up to 250 people, this magnificent setting offers everything you need for a seamless and memorable event that is sure to impress your guests.

The focal point of the room is a stunning skylight allowing for plenty of natural light should you wish to host your event during the day, with the room looking equally as spectacular when set up for a candlelit event at night. The Ballroom has an impressive track record, having hosted many prestigious events including The Ribble Valley Business Awards, as well as illustrious sportsman’s dinners and charity galas.
