Step into our winter wedding wonderland this November and start to picture your special day at one of Lancashire’s best-loved venues!
With over 300 years of history, incredible scenery and award-winning service, a visit to Stirk House is a must if you’re looking for your wedding venue. Come along to our Wedding Fayre this November and see the hotel dressed beautifully with elegant winter themed décor, and experience the magic of this historic manor house during one of our favourite times of the year. Picture softly glowing fairylights, a crackling fire and an enchanting atmosphere.
During the Wedding Fayre you’ll have the chance to have an informal look around the hotel, meet our dedicated Weddings Team as well as some of the area’s best wedding suppliers including photographers, make-up artists, cake makers and more. They’ll be here to chat to you about your plans for show you how they can add a little extra magic to your big day.
Admission is free and there’s no need to book, simply arrive on the day.

The County Brides North West Wedding Awards
We are delighted to have won the award for Best Venue: Lancashire at the prestigious County Brides North West Wedding awards for the second time. Not only that, but our much-loved Master of Ceremonies, Dave Knowles, was awarded Best Toastmaster in the North West. These awards are particularly special to the team here at Stirk House as they have been voted for by our couples.

Our wedding brochure is packed full of information about the venue including the fascinating history of the building, lots of beautiful photographs and how we can help you to create the perfect wedding day.
Prices are bespoke and depend on our couples’ requirements, we take into account things like the number of guests you’d like to join you for your special day and time of year you’d like to get married.
